Base sa data na nilabas ng Central Bank of the Philippines noong February 16, ang pinasok na pera ng mga OFW sa ating bansa last year 2014 ay umabot ng $24.38 billion which is the highest in their record. This is only data of the remittances na dumaan sa mga banko at hindi pa kasama ang mga door to door remittance.
