It seems na meron exemptions din ata dito, and they are only for those legally residing here in Japan.

To confirm kung magiging sakop din ng Japan government ang magiging medication cost ng isang tourist na nahawa sa coronavirus, I tried to call JNTO (Japan National Tourism Organization), but sadly hindi rin nila alam ang sagot. So binigay nila sa akin ang number ng HOKENJO (Japan Public Health Center) and I tried to call them, and this is their reply.

So sa mga kababayan natin holding a short term visa now and staying here in Japan, na hindi makauwi or ayaw pang umuwi, be aware about this.

By the way, I also tried to ask kung ano naman ang treatment nila sa mga overstayer here in Japan, PAREHO lang din daw. Since they are not legally consider na residence here in Japan, walang magiging pananagutan ang Japan government sa kanilang magiging medication.
