Ayon sa survey na isinagawa ng Japan government sa mga senior citizen 65 years old above kung nararamdaman ba nila ang lungkot na mamatay ng mag-isa lamang, lumabas na 45% sa mga ito ay nararamdaman at tinatanggap nilang sasalubungin nila ang kanilang kamatayan na nag-iisa lamang.
