Ayon sa press release information na ito from NEC released yesterday June 24, together with the cooperation of OCD (Office of the Civil Defense) and PTV (Peoples Television), they conducted a test on the digital broadcasting of emergency alert in the Philippines as a first step in implementing the system that will give an instant alert message sa mga taong magiging apektado ng parating na mga calamity like typhoon.

Philippine government and NEC is doing this project to prevent such destruction on the last YOLANDA typhoon again.
