Ayon sa news na ito, nahinto ang operation ng JR Yamanote Line at Saikyo Line at iba pang connected train lines sa Tokyo ng mahigit 4 hours kahapon dahil sa nangyaring electric transmission trouble na naka-apekto sa maraming commuters.
Nangyari ang incident kahapon June 20 ganap ng 5:30PM. Ayon sa JR East, ang cause ng trouble ay short circuit sa isang transmission line nila between Tokyo and Shibuya area dahil sa pagkasira ng isang cable.
Pass 9PM na kagabi ng mag-resume ang operation nila dahil sa trouble na ito na naka apekto sa more than 160 thousand na pasahero.
