Kung ang Pinoy ay ikakasal sa isang Japanese national sa Japan, you need to apply for LCCM at Philippine Consulate. Same with this, kung ang Japanese national naman ay ikakasal sa isang Pinoy sa Pinas, you need to apply for LCCM also.

Ang purpose ng LCCM ay para matiyak ng Japanese Embassy na ang both party na ikakasal, Pinoy at Japanese are both legal and eligible na ikasal, and by applying for this document, hindi nyo lamang mapapatunayan sa Japanese Embassy na you are both eligible to be married, but also this will act as your initial information or registration about your marriage.

This LCCM is applied in the Japanese Embassy office in Manila or in consular office in Davao or Cebu. The needed documents for this application ay ang mga sumusunod.
