1 FINDING WORK WITH THE HELP OF RELATIVES

Meaning sila ang magiging supporter mo para makapasok ka sa company. Pero ang karamihan na napapasukan nila is not that big company, mga malilit na company lang din, so di ganun kagandahan ang salary at mga privileges.

Madali lang ang paraan to get them here in Japan. Their friend or relative will invite them here, get a tourist VISA to enter Japan. Then pagnandito na, papasok sa company with the help ng supporter nila. Pag nakapasok na sa company, since meron ka ng magiging guarantor for your WORKING VISA application, you can change now your VISA status to WORKING VISA. Giving you a long time and rights to work here in Japan.


2 FINDING WORK AS A TOURIST VISA
This is also the best and easy way you can work here in Japan. If you will notice sa paghahanap mo ng work sa internet, sa mga homepage ng mga Japanese company na tinitingnan mo, lagi nilang nilalagay is kailangan na nandito sa Japan ang aplikante. Meaning, foriegner applicant is also welcome to them pero kailangan na nandito sa Japan for the interview, kasi it will be a big expense kung sila pa ang mamamasahe sa iyo para ka lang makapunta here. And one more thing is they want to see the applicant during interview.

So, the way para makapunta ka sa interview ng inaaplayan mong company is to go here as a tourist VISA. Although there are also other way, getting a tourist VISA is the easiest way. Again, kailangan mo na naman ng sponsor here, friend or relatives na sasalo sa iyo para makakuha ka ng tourist visa. Meron din paraan para makapunta ka here kahit wala kang relatives, pero mabusisi at malaki ang chance na di ka bigyan ng VISA sa sobrang higpit now. Your company where you applied for can give you a reason or documents to get here in Japan.

If luckily na nakakuha ka ng tourist visa, there you go. Punta ka kaagad sa company na inaplayan mo for the interview. Do your best para makapasa ka sa interview. One tip or advise I can give to you is, dont go here kung iisang company lang ang inaaplayan mo. Better to have five or more. Or maybe try to go to some place like JOB Fair where lots of company are searching for applicant. Maraming company don na willing kang mainterview. And I think 3 or more companies will give you a positive reply about their willingness to accept you as their employee. Bago ka pumunta here sa Japan, be sure na meron ka ng nagawang biodata. Make a lots of copy on it para abot lang ng abot.

This is also the common way na ginagawa ng mga Filipino here na nagtuturo ng English sa mga Japanese. They will invite their friend here as a tourist, then tutulungan nilang makapasok sa company na pinapasukan nila. Filipino english teacher here in Japan have a good image sa mga Japanese na tinuturuan nila.

Common na binibigay sa mga tourist visa holder here is only a 15 days of stay or maybe less. But you can apply for extension of that. Ang maaari mong maging reason ay ang paghintay mo sa reply sa company na inaplayan mo ng work. Kung meron ka pang papers na hawak galing sa company where you had an interview, that will be your evidence. Maybe another 15 days of stay as an extension here will be granted to you. Now, if you luckily passed the interview, you can change now your visa status to WORKING VISA. Di mo na kailangan bumalik sa atin. Just make sure na you will get all necessary documents from the company to apply for your WORKING VISA. There you go, you luckily find a way to work here in Japan.


3 FINDING WORK IN THE INTERNET
This is the way where I find work here in Japan. I am 100% sure that all company here in Japan have their own homepage to introduce their company and services. Making a homepage about their company is a common sense here, not doing that shows that their company status is not that much. These companies also put their JOB information or application and it is with you how to find it. If you are good in surfing any information you want in the internet, I think this task will be a chicken feed to you.

The tip I can give to you is surf the net or search job information here in Japan using Japanese characters and not English alphabet. Try to use katakana, hiragana or kanji character. But I think I prefer KANJI characters. It will give you lots of information. To search for job information here, try to use the search engine. Be sure that your computer can display Japanese characters. Maybe you will ask yourself na marami ngang job information na makikita pero di mo mabasa kasi Japanese characters, well don't worry. Just click the link on your search results. Most Japanese company homepage had an English version of their site. So, maiintindihan mo na rin siguro.

The second tip I can give to you is to use the word or KANJI character below for you to find lots of informations about available jobs here in Japan. These words are the main keyword use by Japanese site when they put advertisement on job vacancy in their company. Try it to check the result.

転職, read as TENSYOKU
採用情報, read as SAIYOU JOUHOU

If you find the company that are searching for an employee possessing a skill that you have, then try to email them with your biodata. Tell them your interest in working to their company. The person in charge will answer your email after evaluating your resume.

In my experience, after I sent my email and biodata to the Japanese company where I'm working before, the person-in-charge answer my email and we had our communication thru mail. After some email they call me for the actual interview, since they can't afford to let me go here at that time.

If you successfully find a job here in Japan in this way, the processing you must get through to have a VISA is like this. This is my actual experienced so I think you can have this as your reference. The company will request copy of your T.O.R.(Transcript of Records) and maybe your graduation diploma for your C.O.E.(Certificate of Eligibility) application here in Japan. Having this will make your working visa application in the Embassy fast & easy. Together with the C.O.E., ask for the copy of your Working Contract. The Working Contract is necessary to get a permit or O.E.C.(Overseas Employment Certificate) from POEA or OWWA. In POEA, kailangan mo pang umattend ata ng seminar or orientation, then medical check up. After that, saka lang nila ibibigay ang OEC sa iyo, which means you are now have a permit to travel or work here in Japan. Apply first for your working visa, then get a permit or OEC from the POEA. Sa paglakad lang nito, almost 1 month ang inabot ko, kasi lahat eh inayos ko by myself kaya maraming pila kang dadaanan at inis na mararanasan. But its worthy to do, marami kang matutunan at malalaman.

After getting your WORKING VISA and made a first step here in Japan, wala ng need para mag apply ng visa or change ng visa mo sa immigration. Pero syempre kailangan mong i-extend ang visa mo bago sya mag expire.



4 CROSS TRAINING
This case is the other way use by some of our kababayan to work here in Japan. Paano ba ito ginagawa? Actually ang karamihang gumagawa nito ay yong mga pumupunta here sa Japan sent by their company for training. TRAINING VISA or INTRA-COMPANY VISA ang hawak nila when they enter here in Japan. The usual training last for 3 months, other exceed years depends on the content of their training. Sa duration na ito lalo nat mahaba ang training nila, they will have time to search for a JOB here, attend the interview set by the company. Kung very skilled at marami nang experience ang isang trainee, aalokin sya ng company na mag work sa kanila at bibigyan ng magagandang option to lure them. Yong ibang Japanese company naman is parang susulutin nila yong isang trainee para makuha nila to work with them. Once na maka oo ka sa kanila, then you have it. You can now work here. You can easily change your VISA status from TRAINEE VISA to WORKING VISA kasi lahat ng documents na kakailanganin mo is ibibigay din ng company na papasukan mo.

Now, is this good or bad? Legal or illegal? If your training here in Japan is sponsor by the Japanese government or organization, this is illegal I think. During your change of visa status application, maaaring di ka rin mabigyan kasi makukweschun ka don. Now, you have another option. Maaring umuwi ka muna, tapusin mo ang service or bonding na meron or napirmahan mo bago ka mag training here. Then, umalis ka at bumalik here sa Japan. Sa atin ka na lang mag apply ng WORKING VISA.

If your training is sponsored by your mother company, and gusto mong huminto ng training to go to the company you apply for, I think its bad. But I can't say whether it is legal or illegal. Maybe at the part of the company, it is illegal. Kasi ginastusan ka nila for your training tapos ganun ang gagawin mo. Ito ang main reason kung bakit recently lahat halos ng trainee na pumupunta here sa Japan ay meron mga bonding contract to their company sa atin. Stating that, they must pay all the training expenses once na umalis or mag resign sila ng di tapos ang bonding contract. Yes, you can quit your training on your present company and go to the new company. Change your visa status to WORKING VISA. But make sure that you must also pay the training expenses that your company laid. Maybe you can make this training expenses na sagutin ng company na nag scout sa iyo as one of your proposal.
